What a lovely movie.
I watched as I drank my malbec.
Okay, I usually am not a fan of Brad Pitt, but he was great here.
Cate Blanchett has been great all the time.
I have not read the short story, but the movie was very good - very touching and everything made sense, given that I accepted the fantasy that some could grow young.
...and also, the music was very soothing too.
I wish those sunsets and other background were based on better CGs or real sunsets, but it was enough.
I was moved.
Was it because I watched this movie after reading Brida or while drinking wine? I do not know.
But I am very satisfied and impressed.
