I searched my domain with and without .com extension on many search engines.
In Korea:
1) Daum: They have it, since Tistory is with Daum.
2) Nate: Shows articles on my blog.
3) Yahoo Korea: Practically none. They show the link on an entry from my Yahoo Blog.
4) Naver: shows NOTHING!!!
In the US:
1) Google: Had everything by 12 hours into the setup/purchase.
2) Yahoo: Until now, NOTHING. Not even from Yahoo Korea blog.
3) MSN: None.
4) Cuil: None.
5) Baidu: None - no big deal, since China blocked my blog.
** Many whois search engines had the information almost instantly, since I bought my domain through GoDaddy.
I am really impressed with Google, and Nate.com was unexpected. But I guess it's because of their recent merge with Empas.
I am DISAPPOINTED with NAVER, the no.1 search engine in Korea.
IT'S A BULL CRAP. So much for man-handled search ranking,
they don't even import right...
No wonder they are not making any money outside Korea.
The only thing I am using from Naver is their free Anti-Virus program,
but I can let that go if they go down.
These days, I want to give a little boost to MSFT, but they still suck on the Internet and I rely too much on GOOG, because they are good.
So, the whole point is NAVER SUCKS!! and Google is good in what they do.
