Sunday Walk/Run

Since the day after exam on Sunday, I walk/ran 8 miles.
From my place at the Emeryville marina to the Berkeley marina and back.
I was planning to run yesterday (Saturday), but I got too tired from doing chores at home.
I have been meaning to make the run for a long time,
but I was lazy and I always had to (pretend to) study on weekends.
So I have been postponing the walk/run for some months now.
Last Sunday, after exam, after a night of drinking and movie watching,
I put my cap on as soon as I woke up,
and just went outside.
I mainly walked - I can't run long for physical reasons.
After my first walk, my feet were hella sore.
I could not walk properly even as I went to AMC to watch a movie.
and on Monday, my right knee was hella sore.
My doctor told me one reason that didn't help me with my back pain was stiffened hamstrings,
but I didn't it was this bad.
I had to spend extra time stretching on Monday after work, and it got better on Tuesday.
Since then, I have been stretching every night,
and today, as I walked/ran that 8 miles again,
It felt easier on my legs.
I hope to do this two times next weekend,
and two times on every weekend after that.
It's kinda relaxing...
It's nice to listen to the music, walk along the waves hitting rocks.
Although I get to think too much, I get to think.
Also, I have been spending at least an hour every night after work to stretching, sit ups, push ups, and pull ups.
I can't do this if I start studying again,
so better enjoy now.
Abusing myself gives me some relaxation.
