The New Work...

Daily Words 2008. 2. 21. 16:43

I have a new job...
Another sector of appraisal, but it's more exciting than my previous one .

My previous job was basically a labor appraisal, now it's a business appraisal.

But it's far... I spend hours driving in a day, and it could go longer depending on the traffic conditions - I pass by two worst traffic jam sites in the Bay Area: The Bay Bridge and The Old Tunnel - and parking.

I am seriously considering moving,
and many people encourage me to do so.
But I don't feel it yet.
Plus, although I have not enjoyed all the parts of San Francisco,
and leaving San Francisco is an idea very hard to be conceived to me.

I have not explored as much,
but it's San Francisco, for gods' sake.

However, it's just not rational and it's just too expensive - financially now with gas and toll fee and economically with additional component of time.
My utility level isunknown, and I just barely have some energy to watch TV.

Plus, I don't get to move at all.
My previous work involved at least a mile of walk from Bart Station to work + walk to lunch places. It seldom involved 3-4 miles of walking, which I don't complain.
But, as I spend the lunch alone,
I don't have anyone to go out with for lunch,
I just stay in the office...
And when I get home, I just have no desire and energy to move...

I'd have to figure things out soon,
or get used to this as soon as possible to get my rhythm going...
I want my brain working when I come back home...

Look what happened to my fantasy basketball team...
It's going down!!!
